Coming together for an important cause

In September this year we hosted another memorable occasion at the Manor: a charity lunch in support of East Anglian Air Ambulance’s Cambridge Air Base Appeal.

We were honoured to welcome guests for an afternoon of exceptional food, fine wine and generous fundraising in support of a service that makes such a difference across our region.

Guests enjoyed a three-course lunch prepared by James Cattle of Contemporary Catering, paired with wines from Burn Valley Vineyard, followed by coffee and chocolates from Hunter’s Chocolates. Senior Critical Care Paramedic Liam Sagi shared first-hand insight into the air ambulance’s life-saving work and what the new Cambridge Air Base will mean for patients and crews. Luke Macdonald of Sworders Fine Art Auctioneers then led a lively auction of special experiences.

A particular highlight was welcoming the East Anglian Air Ambulance helicopter and crew to the estate, giving guests the chance to see the aircraft up close and meet some of the people behind this extraordinary service.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated and gave their time, and to KL Magazine for capturing the afternoon so beautifully. We’re proud that Little Massingham Manor could play a small part in supporting such an important cause.
